Job summary

Hilton Woodland Hills/Los Angeles is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to uphold high standards of facility upkeep and safety. You will supervise daily maintenance tasks, coordinate work orders, and ensure guest satisfaction through prompt service.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced hotel environment. On-site position offering comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in general maintenance or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, procedures and standards.
• Ensure standards are maintained at a superior level daily.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment use and proper operation.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain positive team and guest relations at all times.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect and maintain cleanliness and organization of areas.
• Conduct weekly equipment inventory and reorder supplies.
• Check logs, prioritize and coordinate maintenance work orders.
• Perform building rounds and check for hazards.

Job description

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; Use equipment only as intended.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Maintain positive team and guest relations at all times.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Inspect supply levels, cleanliness and organization of storage areas; assign designated personnel to rectify any deficiencies.
• Conduct weekly inventory on equipment and supplies; prepare requisitions for reordering of shortages.
• Conduct building rounds and take gauge readings; check for potential fire hazards, burnt out lights, and faulty equipment.
• Check Engineering Logbook and Night Report for information regarding problems; document pertinent information in logbook.
• Collect, prioritize and coordinate completion of maintenance/ engineering work orders received.
• Other duties as assigned my Engineering Management team.
