Job summary

MetalTek in Wisconsin is seeking a Sales Engineer to join a highly energized, collaborative team. The role covers planning, pricing, selling and customer service for heat, wear and corrosion resistant metal alloys.

The ideal candidate has a engineering, materials tech, or business degree and 3–5 years of metals manufacturing sales experience, strong communication, and great project management skills; recent grads with technical degree may be considered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years sales experience in metals manufacturing preferred.
• Degree in engineering, materials technology, or business.
• Knowledge of foundry and fabrication techniques preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills; project management experience.

Requirements

The person we seek should have a degree in engineering, materials technology, or business and/or experience in the metals manufacturing industry with 3-5 years sales experience in a foundry, machining or other metals manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of related markets, applications, product design and an excellent understanding of foundry and fabrication techniques is strongly preferred. Will consider training a recent college graduate with a technical degree. Excellent communication and computer skills, project management experience and strong technical aptitude are also required.
