Job description

Join to apply for the Engineer - Robotics role at Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC.

CCI Facility Support Services, LLC is seeking a qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with experience in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) or Robotics to join our engineering team. The role requires expertise in CAD design (CREO), structural and kinematic analysis, electrical systems integration, manufacturing processes, and program management. The candidate should be capable of effectively communicating technical information to stakeholders.

This onsite position is located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, with a salary range of $90,000 - $125,000 annually.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Design and create component and assembly drawings using CREO or similar CAD software.
  2. Interpret, review, and develop mechanical and electrical system drawings and specifications.
  3. Perform kinematic analysis and apply GD&T to mechanical designs.
  4. Conduct structural analysis with ANSYS or equivalent tools.
  5. Integrate electrical circuits into mechanical assemblies, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  6. Leverage aerodynamics expertise for UAS and robotics system designs.
  7. Manage project timelines and deliverables.
  8. Present technical data and project updates to teams and clients.
  9. Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize designs for production and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • US citizenship; ability to pass background checks and access facilities.
  • Up to 25% travel within the U.S. and Canada.
  • Proficiency in CREO or similar CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of drawing practices, kinematic analysis, GD&T.
  • Experience in program management, project management skills, and effective communication.
  • Experience with structural analysis tools like ANSYS.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical systems and aerodynamics related to UAS and robotics.
  • Hands-on manufacturing experience solving real-world engineering problems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • UAS/Robotics experience.
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques.
  • Robotics design and control systems experience.
Physical Requirements

Must maintain physical and mental alertness, with the ability to sit, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform tasks requiring vision and manual dexterity. Accommodations available for disabilities.
