Job description

Molg is seeking a Robotics Engineer to develop and deploy automation solutions for autonomous disassembly and circular manufacturing. This hands-on role involves designing, prototyping, and integrating robotic systems, including motion control, perception, and automation. You’ll work across hardware, software, and mechanical systems to build and refine mechatronic systems, develop motion planning and control software, and optimize robotic workflows.

We’re looking for an engineer with 3+ years of industry experience in developing and deploying robotic systems in automation, motion control, or perception-driven applications. The role requires working on-site at Molg HQ in Sterling, VA.

Specifically, we'd like to emphasize specific qualifications around real time controls and embedded software engineering for the next hire. They will focus on:

• Designing and implementing highly reliable embedded control systems

• Developing and optimizing real-time control algorithms — and validating designs through simulation and real-world testing

• Driving system architecture decisions
