Job Description
As a Robotics Software Engineer, you’ll have an opportunity to work as part of a team that designs, develops, and operates robotic systems to enable the next generation of manufacturing automation. You'll collaborate with other engineers to implement modern robotics methods across various industry platforms. Your role will include defining requirements, assembling industrial robotic systems, and integrating tooling and sensors (such as ATI, Keyence). Additionally, you will develop closed-loop control software to optimize process parameters in real-time. A high degree of autonomy, ownership, and a willingness to learn are essential.
Responsibilities
Operate robots using your software and enable team members to interface efficiently with the robots to test and implement new features.
Implement trajectory planning and control of robotic end-effectors in real-time software.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, taking ownership of projects from conception to deployment.
Identify project priorities, software/hardware requirements, and design constraints in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, translating these into minimum viable systems.
Engage in design review meetings and provide constructive feedback to the team.
