Job summary

Precision Scans is seeking an Operating/Steam Engineer to maintain hospital infrastructure and support safe, reliable utilities at our Upland, California facility. The ideal candidate will manage boilers, emergency generators, cogeneration, condensers, pumps and related equipment, read drawings, and follow safety protocols.

The shift is variable (days, evenings, weekends) with 5 x 8s, and the project runs 12 weeks with a possible extension.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance and engineering experience in medical or large facility setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital infrastructure and associated power and steam systems.
• Operate and monitor boilers, generators, cogeneration, and auxiliaries.
• Inspect and repair HVAC, exhaust, pumps, compressors, and electrical systems.
• Read blueprints and ensure safety compliance.

Job description:

We are looking for an Operating or Steam Engineer

Candidate will need the following experience:

At minimum, they will consider a Los Angeles Engineer or Steam Engineer – 500 HP.

The preferred candidate is a level IV Trade Engineer/Master Engineer
