Carpenter Technology Corporation seeks an experienced EHS leader to independently identify and control occupational hazards, ensure site and product safety, and advise on structural safety. The role develops safety policies, manages complex projects, and leads audits, investigations, and contractor programs.
You will design safety solutions, deliver training, and oversee safety initiatives across acquisitions while maintaining compliance with regulations and policies.
Carpenter Technology’s Reading, PA facility, serves as the company’s flagship manufacturing, specializing in the production of premium specialty alloys for critical applications. This location houses advanced melting, refining, and finishing operations that support aerospace, transportation, medical, and energy markets worldwide. The Reading plant is a hub for innovation, leveraging state‑of‑the‑art wrought and powder metallurgy technologies to deliver next‑generation materials, including high‑performance titanium alloys, nickel and cobalt‑based superalloys, and stainless steels. With integrated research and development capabilities on‑site, the facility drives advancements in additive manufacturing and novel magnetic materials, reinforcing Carpenter’s leadership in engineered solutions for demanding environments.
Independently leads the identification and control of occupational hazards, ensuring worksite and product safety through expert application of engineering and safety principles. Advises on structural safety, develops and implements safety policies, and manages complex EHS projects and teams. Oversees audits, accident investigations, and compliance with regulations. Designs safety solutions, delivers training, and maintains contractor and construction management programs.
