Job summary

ADT LLC in Irving, TX is seeking an Engineer IT – I (Salesforce) to join a hybrid team. You will develop for Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales, translate business requirements into design artifacts, and follow the full SDLC with a focus on quality and maintainability.

You will collaborate with DevOps and QA, build integrations, optimize queries, and participate in agile development. Quarterly travel to headquarters is required and up to one day remote work per week is permitted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field with 5+ years in Salesforce development.
• 5+ years building Lightning flows, LWC, Visualforce and Aura Components.
• 3+ years building integrations with middleware and web services in Salesforce.
• 4+ years optimizing Salesforce queries with proper indexes and skinny tables.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard SDLC and coding standards to ensure maintainable designs.
• Provide technical support across configuration, coding, and documentation.

ADT LLC has an opening for an Engineer IT – I (Salesforce) out of Irving, Texas. This position is hybrid; may work from home up to one day per week, as permitted.

Develop for Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales in a customized large organization. Analyze and develop Salesforce components to meet business requirements. Transform business requirements into design specifications and manageable artifacts. Follow standard development methodologies and expertise in the full SDLC at various stages like analysis, design, and development to ensure quality of solution. Develop Solutions for User needs, System Performance, maintainability, and scalability. Ensure well-documented designs and solutions for development and follow best coding standards. Provide technical support in configuration, coding, development, and documentation of software specifications throughout project life cycle. Participate in Agile team activities daily as an active participant on the Development team along with sizing and completion of development activities. Work with DevOps, QE teams to ensure code deployments and testing in a timely manner. Support the Production validations and partner with Support team members in rectifying production defects based on need. Quarterly travel to headquarters as needed for 3 to 4 days.

Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Developer or in a related role working in a Salesforce Environment. Must also possess the following: at least 5 years of experience building guided and visual processes with Lightning flows, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages and Aura Components; at least 4 years of experience optimizing queries by using proper indexes and skinny tables; at least 3 years of experience building integrations with middleware systems and build web services in Salesforce; at least 3 years of experience with Copado as a Deployment tool for code migration; and at least 1 year of experience working with Marketing Cloud Journey builder and integrations with Salesforce. Also required to possess Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II certification.
