Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Salesforce Developer in Houston, TX to design, develop, and integrate Salesforce solutions across REST and SOAP interfaces. You will implement Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and robust data integration patterns in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, deep knowledge of Platform Events, CDC, and external services, and a strong background in secure integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Expertise in Apex including triggers, classes, batch, scheduled, queueable, and future jobs.
• Experience building UI with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce.
• Ability to generate PDFs within Salesforce using Visualforce rendering or third-party tools.
• Experience with inbound REST APIs via @RestResource annotated Apex classes, outbound REST callouts using HttpRequest/HttpResponse, inbound SOAP web services via the webservice keyword, and outbound SOAP callouts via WSDL-generated proxy classes
• Familiarity with event-driven integration patterns including Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Outbound Messages
• Experience with Named Credentials, Auth Providers, and External Services for secure and declarative integrations
• Hands-on experience with middleware or ETL platforms such as MuleSoft or equivalent
• Proficiency in Salesforce configuration including custom objects, fields, relationships, Custom Metadata Types, Custom Settings, and Custom Labels
• Experience creating and managing Email Templates in both Classic (text, HTML, Visualforce) and Lightning (Enhanced Letterhead, Lightning HTML) formats
