Job summary
Pape-Dawson Engineers in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a full-time Engineer-in-Training IV to support a team of licensed civil engineers, landscape architects, and surveyors. You will assist in developing commercial and residential projects from concept through design, collaborating across disciplines to deliver infrastructure for site developments.
You will work under supervision to prepare plans, analyze design options, and contribute to technical reports while growing your professional
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or agricultural engineering from ABET-accredited program.
- 3-4 years of experience in civil design (site, commercial, residential).
- Tennessee EI/EIT or ability to reciprocity.
- Experience with middle Tennessee entitlement & permitting processes.
- Experience with NOI submissions and SWPPPs.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Assist a Project Manager in producing project plans, specs and cost estimates.
- Develop feasible design alternatives and compare alignments, right-of-way, and costs.
- Use software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Prepare written technical reports and engineering studies.
- Direct production work of technicians.
