Job summary

GeoSystems Analysis, Inc., a Trinity Consultants team, is seeking an Engineer In Training to support analysis, design, and technical documentation for mine reclamation, managed aquifer recharge, habitat restoration, and related projects in the Southwest. You will perform analyses under senior engineers, prepare designs, and collaborate with CAD staff.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related engineering field and an EIT certification within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil, environmental, water resources, geotechnical, mine reclamation, habitat restoration, or related engineering field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required or ability to obtain within twelve (12) months of hire.
• Experience in civil, environmental, water resources, geotechnical, mine reclamation, habitat restoration, or related engineering field.
• Proficiency in communicating in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses and design activities related to stormwater management, hydrology, hydraulics, earthwork, landform stabilization, and related projects.
• Assist with preparation of engineering designs, calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and other project documentation.
• Collaborate with CAD designers and staff to develop drawings, layouts, and design plans.
• Collect, manage, and evaluate technical data including topographic, survey, and mapping information.
• Monitor task progress and communicate concerns to project managers and senior engineers.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subconsultants, and agencies to support project activities and deliverables.
• Participate in field investigations, site visits, data collection, and construction observations as needed.
