Job summary

GeoSystems Analysis, Inc., a Trinity Consultants team, is seeking an Engineer In Training to join our southwest-based team. The EIT supports analysis, design, and technical documentation for mine reclamation, managed aquifer recharge, habitat restoration, and related projects under senior staff.

Responsibilities include performing analyses, preparing designs and reports, coordinating with CAD designers, collecting data, and participating in field investigations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or master's in a related engineering discipline.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Previous relevant engineering experience in civil, environmental, water resources, geotechnical, mine reclamation, habitat restoration, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses and design activities related to stormwater management, hydrology, hydraulics, earthwork, landform stabilization, and related projects.
• Assist with the preparation of engineering designs, calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and other project documentation.
• Collaborate with CAD designers and technical staff to develop engineering drawings, layouts, and design plans.
• Collect, manage, and evaluate technical data, including topographic, survey, mapping, and other project-related information.
• Monitor task progress and communicate concerns to project managers and senior engineers.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subconsultants, and agencies to support project activities and deliverables.
• Participate in field investigations, site visits, data collection, and construction observations.
