Position Title: Engineer III, Cloud Platform - IAM (P3)

Role

The Engineer III, IAM Cloud will be hands-on in engineering and automating the Identity and Access management system, primarily building and automating in Python. Responsibilities include setting up governance controls, SSO, MFA, and Entra IAM, advising on process improvements, standardization, modernization, and automation. You will build and maintain our IAM toolset and services for users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain IAM solutions and systems.
  • Research, evangelize, and build proof of concepts for new IAM and PAM features.
  • Collaborate with security and IT teams to deploy, scale, monitor, and manage IAM systems on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues.
  • Enhance IAM solutions for security and efficiency.
  • Mentor team members on IAM best practices.
  • Research current IAM threats and propose solutions.
  • Support operational teams with reliability and resiliency patterns.
  • Work with software teams to improve system stability and operational excellence.
  • Participate in system design, platform management, and capacity planning.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet organizational growth and transformation needs.

Education/Certifications

  • AWS Certified Security Specialty preferred.

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years designing and implementing IAM solutions in a cloud environment.
  • 3+ years implementing Privileged Access and SSO products.
  • Experience with IAM best practices and solutions like Microsoft Entra, CyberArk, Saviynt, Okta, Ping Identity.
  • Knowledge of IAM, SSO, PAM, zero-trust security architecture.
  • Experience scripting in Python and PowerShell, automating processes.
  • Understanding of authentication standards like MFA, JWT.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux/Unix, LDAP, SQL, web services.
  • ServiceNow experience is a plus.

Working Conditions: Remote role with up to 10% travel for on-site collaboration.

Additional Information: Salary range is $113,900 - $156,600 annually, with potential bonuses, equity, and benefits including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and holidays.
