Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel seeks a dependable Engineer III to support maintenance operations across the property. You will perform general repairs in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, respond to requests promptly, assist senior engineers, and help keep building systems running safely and efficiently.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC or related systems, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of general maintenance experience, preferably in hotel/hospitality.
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration or related systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and service mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms, public spaces, meeting rooms and back-of-house areas.
  • Assist senior engineers with repairs, inspections and system monitoring.
  • Replace light bulbs and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
  • Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities to reduce waste.
  • Follow hotel safety procedures and complete daily assignments.
