Job summary

The Ashton in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a reliable hotel Maintenance Technician to keep guest areas and back-of-house facilities in top condition. You will respond to service calls, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety standards across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in hotel maintenance, vocational training or apprenticeship, strong communication skills, and a proven work ethic.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel maintenance experience required, including electrical, plumbing, commercial kitchen and general building construction. HVAC is a plus.
• Vocational training, certification and/or apprenticeship in one or more area; or 3 years' of related experience.
• Understand and efficiently maintain and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and boiler systems is a +
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• High work ethic and self-initiative

Responsibilities

• Respond to all service calls within half hour from time call is received.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all assigned work orders on a daily basis. Inform supervisor of any incomplete orders for rescheduling.
• Efficiently adjust televisions and program boxes.
• Change light bulbs and ballasts as soon as reported or noticed.
• Efficiently replace air filters on AC units on a regular basis.
• Accurately and efficiently repair vacuum cleaners, returning them to service within two (2) days.
• Clean up grounds, garages and parking lots.
