Job summary

The Ashton in Fort Worth is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support our historic boutique hotel. You will respond to service calls, perform preventive maintenance, and keep guestrooms and public areas in top condition.

Responsibilities include electrical and plumbing work, HVAC tasks when needed, and coordinating with the supervisor to ensure swift repairs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance including electrical, plumbing and building systems.
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in one or more maintenance areas, or 3 years related experience.
• Capable of understanding and operating complex electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and boiler systems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within 30 minutes of receipt.
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and inform supervisor of incomplete tasks.
• Adjust televisions and program cable/box systems as needed.
• Change light bulbs and ballast when reported or noticed.
• Replace air filters on AC units regularly.
• Repair vacuum cleaners and return them to service within 2 days.
• Clean grounds, garages and parking areas.
