Job summary
Westinghouse Electric Co. is seeking an Engineer II (Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical, or Civil) to support AP1000 fleet design management in Cranberry Township, PA.
The role emphasizes navalty standardization, execution, and driving delivery strategies for NI and TI with a hybrid work model. You will report to the Senior Manager, APX Fleet Design Management, work across design, analysis, projects, and supply chain, and contribute to technical presentations while leveraging 2+ years of relevant
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical, or Civil (ABET-qualified preferred).
- 2+ years of relevant experience in reactor-related design or analysis.
- Experience with AP1000 plant design is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in the management of the AP1000 fleet design.
- Support definition of delivery strategies for the Nuclear Island (NI) and Turbine Island (TI).
- Develop product technology presentations for stakeholders.
- Incorporate lessons learned from operating AP1000 fleet into fleet design.
- Collaborate with design, analysis, projects, and supply chain to solve complex nuclear plant design challenges.
- Identify and define technical challenges and drive resolutions.
