Job summary

Mammoet is seeking an Engineer II in Rosharon, Texas to develop and deliver advanced engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects. You will prepare and verify method statements, drawings, calculations, risk assessments, and other technical documents to ensure safe project execution, working with Operations, Sales, and Project Management teams.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, 7+ years of experience, fluency in English, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with heavy lift and transport equipment and international codes.
• Experience developing advanced engineering solutions and technical documentation.
• Fluent English (verbal and written).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D/3D for modeling and drafting.
• Experience in civil/construction/renewables/oil & gas sectors.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop best-in-class engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects.
• Develop and deliver advanced engineering solutions and documentation.
• Prepare method statements, drawings, calculations, visualizations, manuals, and risk assessments.
• Independently select and verify engineering methods and equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Support project execution and adapt solutions to changing requirements.
• Advise Operations, Sales, and Project Management on feasibility and risks.
• Conduct route surveys and prepare route survey reports when required.
• Review and maintain engineering documentation for technical accuracy and quality.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and project stakeholders.
• Work with conventional and innovative approaches to meet customer challenges.
