Job summary

Mammoet in Rosharon, TX is seeking an Engineering Intern to develop and deliver engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transport projects. You will prepare method statements, drawings, calculations, visualizations, manuals, and risk assessments to ensure safe and efficient project execution.

You will work with a team to verify methods, support project execution, and advise on technical feasibility and risks while developing foundational skills in the field.

Qualifications

• Junior or senior engineering student pursuing mechanical or civil engineering.
• Interest in heavy lift, transport, and specialized equipment.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D modeling, detailing, and drafting.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop best-in-class engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects.
• Develop and deliver basic engineering solutions for projects.
• Prepare method statements, drawings, calculations, visualizations, manuals, risk assessments.
• Select and verify engineering methods with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Support project execution and adapt solutions to site conditions.
• Advise Operations, Sales, and Project Management on feasibility and risks.
• Conduct route surveys and prepare survey reports when required.
• Review and maintain engineering documentation for accuracy and quality.
