Sunseeker is where elevated hospitality meets sun-soaked relaxation.What you will have an opportunity to do:The Engineer I is responsible for the daily operations and activities which they have been assigned and provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management. Engineer I is an entry level position with general knowledge of maintenance. THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSTION (3PM - 11:30PM).All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resort policies, practices, and procedures.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Complete work ordersWalk daily routes and make necessary repairsPerform other job-related duties as requestedAble to use diagnostic tools, such as but not limited to: Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gauges etc.Able to work from blueprints and schematics, and interpret manufactures guidelines for the operation and maintenance of related equipmentKnowledgeable of hand and power toolsProficient at inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing equipment and facilities fixtures, furnishings, and equipmentAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contactsMaintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standardsPerform other duties as assigned.What are we looking for?EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Required:minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in a resort setting preferredHVAC Experience preferredCombination of education and experience will be consideredKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidaysWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExcellent customer service skillsAbility to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlinesMust possess mature personal discretion and sound judgmentStrong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skillsExcellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detailInterpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contactsProfessional appearance and demeanorCompensation:-Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
