Mutual of Omaha is seeking a collaborative, self-starting Engineer to support data development needs across internal business segments. This role involves providing administrative oversight, developing custom solutions, and managing data to maximize the Salesforce platform's potential. What We Offer:

• Salary ranges (levels vary by responsibilities and qualifications):
  • Engineer I: $95,000 - $115,000 + annual bonus
  • Engineer II: $110,000 - $130,000 + annual bonus
• 401(k) plan with 2% company contribution and 6% company match

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web services supporting Salesforce applications using REST principles
• Create custom data engineering solutions for internal segments
• Participate in team ideation and brainstorming for innovative solutions
• Ensure code quality, utilize version control, and follow change management practices
• Drive modernization initiatives for scalable and future-ready systems
• Maintain technical documentation

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with integration applications using REST/SOAP and scalable data pipelines
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft and strong API skills
• Proficiency with JSON data structures
• Experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Informatica, and relational databases
• Promote diversity and inclusion, value different ideas, and remain curious
• Ability to work remotely within the U.S. or Puerto Rico with high-speed internet

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with code quality practices, enterprise applications, and middleware solutions
