Your Role at impact.com:

As a Software Engineer, you will work on a global team building real-time data processes at scale—ingesting, enriching, and reporting data. You will design and build distributed systems and have opportunities to become an expert in the field. You will directly contribute to products used by top brands worldwide.

What You'll Do:

• Design, code, and automate tests for data pipeline features
• Utilize technologies like Kafka, Spark, Dataproc, BigTable, Streaming
• Work with large datasets in processing and backend storage systems
• Resolve real-world challenges for brands on our platform
• Address technical issues related to scale and performance
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather requirements
• Participate in agile processes and continuous improvement
• Work remotely using tools like Slack and Zoom
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems

What You Have:

• Interest in processing data at scale, with relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of Java and/or Scala
• 2+ years of programming experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset and solution-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Salary Range:

$95,000 - $105,000 per year, plus a 5% variable bonus based on company performance and potential RSU grants. Compensation depends on skills, experience, and qualifications.
