Job summary

Rosendin offers an entry-level Engineer I role that provides learning opportunities under the guidance of the Engineering Team Lead or Manager. You will provide technical design support, consult with internal and external customers, and help ensure compliance with engineering standards on high-profile projects.

You will work with a team to develop power systems, review submittals, and gain exposure to coordination across architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical trades, all while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
• Willingness to learn and apply engineering analytic software under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee or collaborate with Designers on your team.
• Review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals.
• Coordinate between architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical trades.
• Prepare designs, check, and specify power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
• Develop power single-line diagrams and model short circuits and coordination studies.
• Coordinate work with project specifications or equipment buy-out.
• Visit job sites to field survey electrical conditions under supervision.
• Learn engineering analysis programs to analyze loads and currents under supervision.
