Job summary
Rosendin Electric in Sterling, VA is seeking an entry‑level Engineer I to learn and develop under the guidance of the Engineering Team Lead. You will provide technical engineering design, consultation, and assistance to internal and external customers to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Responsibilities include reviewing submittals, coordinating with architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing teams, developing power diagrams, and supporting field observations and design
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural engineering, construction sciences, or equivalent experience.
- Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Ability to learn Engineering Analytic programs such as SKM and E-Tap.
Responsibilities
- Review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing processes with electrical trades.
- Prepare designs, check, and specify power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
- Develop power single-line diagrams and short circuit studies.
- Assist senior engineers with field observations and design updates.
