Job summary

Murray Logan Construction seeks a motivated Field Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of heavy civil/marine projects. The role coordinates field operations, monitors progress, reviews plans and specs, maintains documentation, and assists with quality, safety and scheduling.

It serves as a liaison among project management, superintendents, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in civil engineering or construction management and 1–3 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of construction or field engineering experience preferred.
• Knowledge of heavy civil, marine, roadway, utility, or infrastructure construction.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction software.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
• OSHA training and surveying experience are a plus.
