Job summary

SkillStorm is recruiting early-career technologists for a 12-week paid, immersive training program that takes you from readiness to deployment. You’ll collaborate on real-world team projects and then move into a client engagement where you contribute from day one.

We hire recent graduates and career changers with a solid technical background and strong fundamentals, aiming for a structured entry into enterprise software development. Stay eligible for government work and relocation as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• At least 1 year of hands-on technical work experience.
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, databases and SQL, and OO development in Java or C#.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve applications using client languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Produce clean, efficient, well-organized code that meets professional standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects; deliver technical support and solutions.
• Take part in code reviews, offering and accepting constructive feedback.
• Work with stakeholders to turn business needs into technical specifications.
• Assist with testing and production deployments; keep technical documentation up to date.
• Stay current on industry tools and practices through continued training.

SkillStorm prepares technology professionals for Fortune 100 enterprises and U.S. government agencies. Over 12 weeks of paid, immersive training, you'll collaborate on real-world team projects, then move straight into a client engagement where you contribute from your very first day. There's no tuition and no cost to you. This is a salaried position with a defined route from "ready" to "deployed."

We're looking for early-career technologists, including recent graduates and career changers with a technical background, who bring solid fundamentals, strong motivation, and a desire for a structured entry into enterprise software development.

Are you eligible?

You're likely a match if you meet these:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or comparable)
• At least 1 year of hands-on technical work experience

In addition, you should have a practical grasp of core programming concepts: data structures, algorithms, databases and SQL, and object-oriented development in a language such as Java or C#.
