Job summary

Target is hiring an engineer to design and build the software and platform capabilities behind Agent Fetch and the broader agentic data platform. You will work across agent orchestration, data access, semantic models, evaluation, observability, security, and related services.

You will join a highly collaborative team in a hybrid work setup, learn new domains quickly, and contribute to reliable, scalable enterprise analytics that connect users and agents to trusted data.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, IT, ML, AI, Applied Mathematics, Physics or relevant industry experience.
• Proficient in Python or Java; ability to learn additional languages and frameworks.
• Experience with AI agents, LLM applications, planning, or multi-step agent workflows.
• Experience with LangGraph or similar agent orchestration frameworks.
• Exposure to data platforms, governance, and metadata.

Responsibilities

• Design and build software and platform capabilities behind Agent Fetch and the broader agentic data platform.
• Collaborate across agent orchestration, data and metadata access, semantic models, evaluation, observability, security, and services.
• Support safe interactions with enterprise analytical data for users and other agents.
