Job summary

Coral Hospitality, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Lake Blackshear Resort and Georgia Veterans State Park in Cordele, GA. The role focuses on hands‑on building and systems maintenance to ensure guest comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years’ experience in multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, drywall) and will work under the Engineering Manager in a team‑driven environment that values service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in at least 3 of the following disciplines: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, drywall.
• Basic electrical repair experience.
• Plumbing experience.
• Air conditioning repair knowledge.
• Drywall patching experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair buildings and structures within Lake Blackshear Resort and Georgia Veterans State Park.
• Report to Engineering Manager and support daily maintenance operations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure guest satisfaction.

Engineer / Maintenance Technician - Lake Blackshear Resort / GA Veterans State Park

Georgia Veterans State Park / Lake Blackshear Retreat & Conference Center, located in Cordele, Georgia, is looking for an extraordinary Maintenance Technician. • campus is comprised of 1,308 acres of pine and hardwoods located on a beautiful 8,800-acre cypress lakefront - Lake Blackshear. Lake Blackshear Resort 10 lake cabins and 6 multi-room villas, a full-service restaurant and bar with seasonal food and entertainment lakeside, catering, off site fitness center, conference center, marina with boat rental, and18 hole-golf course. In addition, we offer 82 camp sites (of which many are water front), a pioneer camp area, 3 community shelters and 4 open air picnic pavilions, swimming beach, 3D archery course and a military museum and static military displays of planes, cannons and tanks.

We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.

Qualifications: The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for all buildings and structures within the Resort and Park. A potential candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in at least 3 of the following disciplines:

Basic electrical repair

Plumbing

Air Conditioning Repair Knowledge

Painting

Drywall Patching
