Job summary

Coral Hospitality's Lake Blackshear Resort, located at Georgia Veterans State Park in Cordele, GA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for all buildings and structures within the resort and park. The role emphasizes teamwork, guest service, and reliable maintenance to keep facilities operating smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least two years’ experience in three of the following trades: basic electrical repair, plumbing, air conditioning repair, painting, and drywall patching.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Technician reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for all buildings and structures within the Resort and Park.
• Minimum two years’ experience in at least 3 of the following disciplines: basic electrical repair, plumbing, air conditioning repair knowledge, painting, drywall patching.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all buildings and structures within the Resort and Park.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager to ensure facilities and equipment are in good working order.
• Deliver high levels of guest service through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.

Engineer / Maintenance Technician - Lake Blackshear Resort / GA Veterans State Park

Georgia Veterans State Park / Lake Blackshear Retreat & Conference Center, located in Cordele, Georgia, is looking for an extraordinary Maintenance Technician. • campus is comprised of 1,308 acres of pine and hardwoods located on a beautiful 8,800-acre cypress lakefront - Lake Blackshear. Lake Blackshear Resort 10 lake cabins and 6 multi-room villas, a full-service restaurant and bar with seasonal food and entertainment lakeside, catering, off site fitness center, conference center, marina with boat rental, and18 hole-golf course. In addition, we offer 82 camp sites (of which many are water front), a pioneer camp area, 3 community shelters and 4 open air picnic pavilions, swimming beach, 3D archery course and a military museum and static military displays of planes, cannons and tanks.

Qualifications: The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for all buildings and structures within the Resort and Park. A potential candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in at least 3 of the following disciplines:

Basic electrical repair

Plumbing

Air Conditioning Repair Knowledge

Painting

Drywall Patching
