Power Solutions International (PSI) is seeking a Warranty Technician in Itasca, IL to inspect engines and related components returned for warranty consideration. You will document findings, disassemble as needed, and determine root causes while maintaining objectivity and thorough records.

The role emphasizes precise inspection, accurate reporting, and collaboration with engineering and quality teams. Overtime may be required to meet KPI timelines while ensuring compliance with PSI warranty

Qualifications

• Hands-on engine repair, diagnosis, maintenance, or inspection experience.
• Experience with engine electrical and fuel systems preferred.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and engine inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive engines and warranty components for inspection.
• Document discrepancies and enter data into the warranty system.
• Perform comprehensive inspections to identify failure modes and root causes.
• Prepare clear technical reports with findings and recommendations.
