Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles is seeking a Rework Technician in Augusta to identify root causes of non-conformances and drive quality improvements on the production line. You will disassemble and rework engines, ride and evaluate carts, and communicate findings to enhance reliability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience; ASE certification is a plus and blueprint reading is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in a related role.
• ASE certification is a plus; ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Identify root cause of non-conformance and communicate findings to the production line.
• Participate in quality and efficiency improvement activities.
• Complete assignments according to development schedules, cost objectives and management directions.
• Assure confidentiality and security of sensitive designs, costing, test data, prototype models, and product plans.
• Identify new products and features that improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and keep the production line at the forefront of the industry.
• Disassemble and assemble engines without damaging or losing components.
• Ride and evaluate carts to assess performance.
