Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles seeks a Quality Inspector to support our Augusta, GA operations. You will identify root causes of non-conformances, inspect components, and participate in continuous improvement across the production line.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience, with blueprint reading; ASE certification is a plus. This is a first-shift, onsite opportunity aligned with our broad range of vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify root causes of non-conformance and communicate findings to the production line.
• Participate in quality and efficiency improvement activities.
• Complete assignments according to schedules, cost objectives and management directions.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive designs, costing, test data, and prototype models.
• Identify new products and features to improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
• Disassemble and assemble engines without damaging components.
• Ride and evaluate carts to assess performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify root cause of non-conformance and communicate findings to the production line.
• Participate in quality and efficiency improvement activities.
• Complete all assignments according to development schedules, cost objectives and management directions.
• Assure confidentiality and security of sensitive designs, costing, test data, prototype models, and product plans.
• Identify new products and features that improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and keep the production line at the forefront of the industry.
• Disassemble and assemble engines without damaging or losing components.
• Ride and evaluate carts to assess performance.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required, 2 year technical or industry related degree preferred.

Years of Experience: 2 or more years of experience required

Additional Requirements: ASE certification is a plus, ability to read blueprints.
