Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles in Augusta, GA is seeking a Rework Technician to identify root causes of non-conformances and participate in quality and efficiency improvement activities on the production line. A High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience are required; ASE certification is a plus.

The role includes disassembly/reassembly of engines, cart evaluation, and protecting sensitive designs and data.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required, 2 year technical or industry related degree preferred.
• Years of Experience: 2 or more years of experience required
• Additional Requirements: ASE certification is a plus, ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Identify root cause of non-conformance and communicate findings to the production line.
• Participate in quality and efficiency improvement activities.
• Complete all assignments according to development schedules, cost objectives and management directions.
• Assure confidentiality and security of sensitive designs, costing, test data, prototype models, and product plans.
• Identify new products and features that improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and keep the production line at the forefront of the industry.
• Disassemble and assemble engines without damaging or losing components.
• Ride and evaluate carts to assess performance.
