Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Director of Quality Program Management to provide enterprise-wide quality oversight across programs, manufacturing sites and supply chains. You will partner with engineering, operations, and leadership to embed quality as a foundational discipline, translating data into strategic actions and continuous improvement.

You will lead a team of QPMs, drive proactive quality involvement in gated reviews, and champion AI-enabled quality planning tools to ensure mission assurance

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in quality, manufacturing, test, or operations.
• Experience leading or contributing to quality management systems (AS9100/ISO9000).
• Background in design/development, production, and maintenance environments.
• Strong leadership, planning, and project management capability.
• Desirable: 15+ years total experience and an MBA.
• A aerospace/spaceflight background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop a team of QPMs embedded across programs.
• Set vision, drive continuous improvement, and engage cross-functional leaders.
• Embed quality as a foundational discipline and translate data into action.
• Lead RCCA and predictive quality efforts with AI/data analytics.
• Ensure quality representation in executive reviews and customer engagements.
