Job summary

JASPER Engines & Transmissions in Jasper, IN is seeking a Power Drive: POD 723- Disassembly technician to disassemble engines and components using basic hand tools, solvents, brushes, and scrapers after BOM verification.

Responsibilities include removing bolts and seals, taking off the oil pan, extracting valve bodies, pumps, wiring harnesses and clutch packs, then cleaning parts and routing them for remanufacture.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand or walk the full shift (8–10 hours).
• Experience with handheld tools such as impacts, pneumatic drills, and hammers.
• Standing continuously; walking occasionally; sitting never.
• Stooping (forward leaning) occasionally; reaching/working overhead occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble components by removing bolts and seals as per BOM.
• Remove oil pan and access internal parts.
• Remove valve bodies, pumps, wiring harnesses and clutch packs.
• Clean parts with solvents and prepare for washing.
• Pack parts into baskets and route through washer.
