Job summary

John Deere in Dubuque, IA is seeking an Engineer, Structures to design and develop structural components for the Construction & Forestry division. You will create drawings, specifications, and design documentation to support product development, prototype builds, and field evaluations.

You will investigate design issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions while collaborating with manufacturing, test engineering, quality, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with 3D modeling tools (Creo/SolidWorks) to develop structural designs.
• Experience applying GD&T and tolerance analysis to assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural components and assemblies using Creo.
• Develop engineering drawings, specs, and design documentation for product development.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and field evaluations to validate designs.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
