Job summary

Prattwhitney is seeking an engineering professional to learn and apply certification processes for active commercial engine programs. You will collaborate with certification specialists and CIPTs to develop substantiation plans and reports for initial and post-certification design changes.

You will track deliverables through the FAA certification process, coordinate with SIPTs, and may advance to an ODA role with delegated FAA authority. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of engineering experience or Advanced degree with 5 years of engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Learn the commercial engine certification process and apply it to active certification programs.
• Collaborate with certification specialists and CIPTs to support substantiation plans and reports for engine model certification and post-cert changes.
