Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler to join our Johnson Creek, WI team. The role focuses on assembling and rebuilding engines and related components by following blueprints, diagrams, and instructions. You will use hand and power tools, hydraulic presses, and measuring devices to meet exact specs and document defects.

You’ll work in a climate-controlled environment on a 2nd shift with a shift premium. The position is contract to hire, offering benefits and room for growth as you contribute to

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, diagrams, and specs to assemble equipment.
• Experience with mechanical assembly in production environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions to assemble equipment.
• Assemble and rebuild engines and install components per specs.
• Use hand and power tools to perform mechanical assembly tasks.
• Operate hydraulic presses safely during assembly.
• Maintain inventory at workstations to support workflow.
• Perform quality checks and document defects or rework.
• Lift and move components weighing 50-75 pounds as needed.
• Collaborate with team to address quality, safety, or production issues.
