Job summary

Sheltering Arms Early Education and Family Centers is seeking a Substitute Teacher to assist the regular staff in caring for and educating a group of children. This role is not benefits eligible and requires active engagement with children, safe lifting, and adherence to center routines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDA or Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to interact with children on the floor and in activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the regular staff in the care and education of a group of children.
• Maintain an orderly learning environment.
• Promote healthy eating practices by eating with children.
• Greet parents and visitors and follow center routines.
• Interact with children in activities and supervise safely.
