Job summary

Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC. is seeking an on-call Substitute Teacher to support classrooms across centers and age groups. You’ll engage in hands-on activities, communicate daily milestones to families, and help maintain safe, organized classrooms.

The role offers flexible scheduling and exposure to multiple centers, contributing to children’s growth and learning. Ideal candidates have schooling in early education and prior child-care experience.

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• CDA or college level ECE coursework is highly preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations.
