Montgomery College seeks part-time adjunct faculty to teach psychology across the Rockville, Takoma Park/Silver Spring and Germantown campuses. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and assignments are determined at management’s sole discretion, based on enrollment needs.

Courses may be daytime, evening, weekend, or accelerated, and may involve other campuses as needed. Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in Psychology and college-level introductory psychology teaching

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology.
• Experience teaching introductory psychology courses at the college level.
• Commitment to promoting belonging, inclusion, and multicultural competence; support for the college's inclusion plan.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in Psychology.
• Teach a variety of psychology courses on daytime, evening, weekend and/or accelerated schedules; may teach on other campuses if needed.
• Follow guidelines to ensure content coverage and student experience across sections.
• Administer, grade and provide timely feedback to monitor progress.
• Meet deadlines to submit mid-term and final grades.
