Job summary

Spring Mill Pointe, a HumanGood community, is hiring a Per Diem/On-Call Activities Coordinator to join our Memory Support team. The role provides and promotes educationally focused activities for residents, supporting roughly 30 memory care residents in a per diem/on-call capacity.

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. The coordinator will lead both group and individual activities, aligning programs with residents' abilities, and assist in maintaining an engaging activity area.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with emphasis in recreation, health education or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in direct programming with older adults.
• CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs for memory care residents.
• Lead group and one-on-one activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
• Decorate and maintain the activity area to create a welcoming environment.
• Encourage resident participation and tailor activities to individual abilities and preferences.
