Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology (counseling, clinical, school, applied, or educational), social work, applied behavioral science, or education.
• Or Master’s degree with 24 graduate-credit hours in counseling, psychology, social work, applied behavioral science, or education.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students in classroom, online, or other settings as appropriate.
• Provides student support through office hours or other approved communication methods.
• Prepares, distributes, and uses instructional materials and integrates instructional technologies.
• Structures curriculum to meet program objectives and keeps it current.
• Supports students in navigating college systems and resources.
• Promotes active, student-centered instructional practices and inclusivity.
• Maintains equipment and ensures safe working and learning conditions.
• Convenes classes on time and maintains records and documentation.
