Job summary

The Tri-Cities Family YMCA Out of School Time program is seeking an OST Program Staff member to provide direct care, supervision, and engaging activities for school-age children in a safe, welcoming environment.

Under the OST Site Lead and Program Director, you will support daily operations, follow licensing and YMCA policies, and participate in required training to promote children's development and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Certifications: Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid and child abuse prevention training within first 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate care, continuous supervision, and engagement of children in accordance with YMCA policies and Michigan licensing requirements.
• Work with OST Site Lead and team to ensure safe, smooth program operations.
• Facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities for school-age children promoting development.
• Develop positive relationships with children and families and communicate professionally.
