Job summary

The Waters of Scottsburg is seeking an Activity Aide to assist the Activities Director by delivering a meaningful activity program for residents, maintaining records, and assisting with transporting residents to and from activities. You will work in a home-like setting, participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team, and help with seasonal décor and clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license (preferred), English communication,

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• English language proficiency (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Activity Director in carrying out a planned activity program for residents.
• Maintains records and assists with transportation to and from activities.
• Performs varied clerical and department maintenance tasks.
• Supports the interdisciplinary team and adheres to policy and procedures.
• Notifies supervisor of supplies and equipment needs; assists with décor and events.
