Job summary

The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, IN is seeking an Activity Aide to support the Activity Director in delivering a planned activity program for residents and to transport them to activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma, flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and health assessments as required. CNA preferred but not required; the ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and able to motivate residents to participate in activities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must meet health assessment requirements, including Mantoux skin tests and one-step annually thereafter

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in carrying out the planned activity program for residents.
• Transport residents to and from activities.
• Maintain records and perform clerical/maintenance functions.
• Assist in planning programs to provide socialization, relaxation and exercise.
• Assist in leading group activities (arts and crafts, outdoor activities, etc.).
