Job summary

Watsontown Nursing and Rehab Center in Watsontown, PA is seeking a compassionate Activities Aide to help plan and run recreational programs that support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being. You will bring creativity to activities, adapt to resident needs, and contribute to a welcoming home-like atmosphere.

As part of the care team, you will coordinate with Nursing and Therapy, lead group and one-on-one activities, monitor participation, and ensure safety and equipment readiness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare or recreational settings is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing activities (arts/crafts, games, bingo, trivia).
• Facilitate social interaction through group activities and events.
• Monitor engagement and report changes to the Activities Director.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Collaborate with Nursing and Therapy to support patient care.
