Job summary

Focus Health Network is seeking an Activities Aide to lead engaging programs that keep residents active, social, and inspired. You’ll facilitate group activities like arts and crafts, bingo, fitness, music, and trivia, and connect one-on-one with residents who prefer individual visits.

We value an upbeat, empathetic personality who loves sharing hobbies such as music, crafts, gardening, or games, and who can adapt activities for different abilities.

Qualifications

• Upbeat, patient and able to motivate others.
• Enjoy hobbies like music, crafts, gardening or games and share them.
• Empathy for the elderly and ability to adapt activities.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and the ability to stand/move for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead group activities such as arts and crafts, bingo, fitness, music and trivia.
• Spend one-on-one time with residents who prefer individual visits.
• Assist the Activities Director with planning events and decorating for holidays.
• Keep simple logs of participation to track social engagement.
