Job summary

Cedar Healthcare Center in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant who is creative, energetic, and compassionate to engage residents through recreational programs. You will help plan and implement activities, escort residents to events, and support outings while upholding dignity and privacy.

Strong communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

• Support Resident and Family Council meetings as assigned.
• Maintain resident dignity, rights, confidentiality, and safety.

Cedar Healthcare Center, a senior living and rehabilitation community in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy interacting with residents and making a meaningful impact in their daily lives through engaging recreational activities, Cedar Healthcare Center is the place for you.

Schedule: Part-time

Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00

What You’ll Do

• Assist with planning and implementing engaging recreational, social, and wellness programs
• Escort residents to activities and facilitate group and one-on-one programs
• Support offsite outings, including transportation coordination
• Assist in passing resident meals
• Observe and report changes in mood, behavior, or engagement
• Assist with Resident and Family Council meetings as assigned
• Maintain resident dignity, rights, confidentiality, and safety at all time
