Job summary

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is hiring an Activity Assistant to engage residents with meaningful daily activities and support cognitive and physical well-being. You will lead hourly programs, assist with transportation, and back the Activities Director in program delivery.

The role emphasizes teamwork, empathy for elders, and strong English communication. Starting wage is $19/hour, with experience-based variation; benefits include health/dental, life insurance, PTO, and growth

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must enjoy taking care of others and be a team player.
Prefer at least one-year prior experience working with elders or in a Memory Care setting.
Motivation to get tasks completed timely and efficiently.
Oral and Written English Communication Skills.
A teamwork attitude.

Responsibilities

Engage residents with meaningful activities to promote cognitive function, physical health, socialization and emotional well-being.
Lead hourly programs for individuals and groups and assist with transporting.
Support and assist the Activities Director in programming.
